Texas Penal Code §46.035 makes it illegal for an intoxicated person to carry a concealed weapon. You should be aware of the laws governing the sale, purchase, transportation, and transfer of firearms in a state where you intend to conceal or carry. Retired officers will also provide proof of retirement, as well as a request to conceal transportation according to standards provided by LEOSA. This Act is in accordance with the Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act which provides rules to conceal transportation for active officers and retired officers.
