If you have a Texas transportation license (LTC), you've most likely wondered what Texas LTC reciprocity looks like and how it works, Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Mississippi, Missouri. People with LTC from California, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island and Washington can bring in Texas. In Texas, a transportation license is no longer required if you meet the eligibility requirements. However, if you want to take advantage of the benefits provided by an LTC and legally hide the carry in another state, you will need an LTC if it is a state that has reciprocity with Texas or a unilateral agreement that favors Texas.

It's equally important to thoroughly review the laws that apply to guns and firearms in general when you plan to travel and transport, especially in the states you'll be passing through on your way to your intended destination. California, Connecticut, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey and New York will not respect the concealed carry permits of any other U.S. The U.S., Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, and New York are not states issued for concealed carry permits. Educators in such situations will be certified by the NRA, Texas DPS, or the Criminal Justice Training Commission.
